Why soya granules sabzi recipe?
We are all aware of the evils of refined flour (maida) which is used in bread, noodles, and pastas. And yet as kids grow older we moms find it difficult to keep them away from burgers, pizzas, and cooked-in-a-couple-of-minutes noodles. I still have some time till Devansh reaches the stage where he’s going to get influenced by ads telling him how yummy chocolate biscuits and cereals are. And, how amazingly delicious these instant noodles taste. But till that time, I’m going to stick to serving simple, nutritious Indian fare to Devansh most of the times.
About my soya graules sabzi recipe:
Like most of my recipes, this one too is very Indian and very nutritious. Its main ingredient, soya granules, is a good source of dietary fiber, protein, and all essential amino acids. It is an excellent alternative for meat. Shilpi, whose recipe I have posted before this blog post, suggested that I introduce soya granules sabzi in Devansh’s diet. This is since, we don’t cook non-vegetarian food other than eggs at home.
I would like to share some very useful links of sites that I came across while writing this soya granules sabzi recipe. These sites have articles explaining the benefits of soy, amino acids, evils of refined flour, and risks of eating ready-made breakfast cereals. I’ll post them shortly on my FB page as I don’t want to clutter this blog post. Please do read them so as moms we can make informed choices when cooking/feeding food to our li’l ones.
